This month’s webinar: Emotional Regulation
Strong emotions can be draining. You might notice frustration that builds quickly, shutting down after overwhelm, or feeling like your reactions are out of proportion even when you are trying your best to hold it together. Emotional regulation can be particularly challenging for neurodivergent adults, and this often becomes more noticeable after diagnosis when self-awareness grows.
In this practical and supportive session, we will look at what emotional regulation really means, why it can feel harder for neurodivergent people, and what is happening in your nervous system when emotions spike. You will learn realistic strategies to help you spot early signs, respond rather than react, and recover more gently after intense moments.
This is not about forcing yourself to stay calm or “getting it right.” It is about understanding your patterns, building awareness, and finding tools that actually work in day-to-day life.
You will leave with:
• A clearer understanding of your own emotional patterns
• Practical techniques you can use straight away
• More self-compassion around your reactions
As always, you are welcome to listen quietly or join in as much as feels right for you.
